Your boat still has many good years ahead. Upgrading its electronics helps you keep enjoying it for longer and brings the ease of control found on newer boats, while preserving the hull and layout you appreciate.
EVC — Electronic Vessel Control — connects engines, transmissions and controls. Depending on your installation, an upgrade can open up access to new displays, joystick control and Volvo Penta manoeuvring assistance.

TWO WAYS TO UPGRADE YOUR BOAT
On an eligible installation, EVC Upgrade replaces the electronic control units, wiring and software to bring the system to EVC-E4. Some transmissions also require adaptation. The helm becomes more modern and can accommodate new functions.
Your EVC may already support new options. Depending on the configuration, software activation and the addition of the required equipment provide access to the functions available for your boat. AMP works with you to identify upgrades that suit the way you use your boat.
VOLVO PENTA GLASS COCKPIT
A streamlined helm, information brought together and intuitive controls. Glass Cockpit combines Volvo Penta integration with Garmin electronics to support you underway and in harbour.
Charts and navigation information come together on one touchscreen. You can customise the views to show the data you need at each stage of your trip.
Engine speed, operating hours, fuel level and other data available on board: engine monitoring is integrated into your helm for clear, immediate readings.
AMP assesses how to integrate displays, controls and functions compatible with your EVC. This can form part of an electronics upgrade or a complete helm modernisation.

ASSISTED DOCKING
You control direction and speed with the joystick. Assisted Docking compensates for wind and current to make approaches and manoeuvres in confined spaces easier.
Follow a controlled path, turn around a fixed point or hold position when you release the joystick: practical assistance when arriving in harbour. Side Push can help hold the boat sideways against the quay while you secure the lines.
Semi-automatic assistance: you remain at the helm and in control. Installation is planned around the propulsion, EVC and equipment already on board.

DPS · DYNAMIC POSITIONING SYSTEM
DPS uses GPS information to control propulsion and maintain the boat’s heading and position within a limited area, despite wind and current.
Waiting your turn at the fuel dock, preparing lines and fenders or waiting for a bridge to open becomes more comfortable. The system is activated from the joystick control.
Temporary position holding under the skipper’s supervision, within the system’s operating conditions.
